Support Groups --Provide education and emotional support for individuals with brain injuries and their family members.

Helpline 1-800# Provides support, information, and resources for individuals with brain injuries, family members, friends and professionals.

Resource Library --Includes articles, pamphlets, research reports, books, booklets and videos. Our library also offers access to an interactive software program called BIRC (Brain Injury Resource Center), which is user vriendly and offers A to Z information about brain injury.

Conferences -- Every fall, we hold an annual Family & Professionals Conference that provides educational and networking opportunities for individuals with brain injuries, family members, and professionals. Each spring, a Legal & Medical conference is held for attorneys and other legal personnel to strengthen the bridge between understanding brain injury and legal representation.

Community Education --Because the only cure for brain injury is prevention, community education is crucial to our organization. We offer the Being HeadSmart program to elementary schools for kindegarted through the sixth-grade. In addition, we offer programs that help promote safety while provicing in-service training and educational publications, brochures, and a quarterly newsletter.

Legislative Liaison --We advocate with state and federal legislators to increase awareness about the needs of individuals who suffer from brain injury, Such advocacy contributed to the reauthorization of the Traumatic Brain Injury Act, which provides funding for research concerning brain injury.
